Pure Reef Nitrate Plus introduces Nitrate to the aquarium when levels are too low.

As waste breaks down in your aquarium, it cycles from ammonia to nitrite to nitrate, due to nitrifying bacteria

Deep sand beds, macro-algae, carbon dosing or reactor media for Nitrate reduction are well known methods of reducing Nitrates in a reef aquarium and are often so effective that Nitrate levels can be dangerously low.

For optimum coral and invertebrate health, levels between 1 – 10 ppm are advisable in a reef aquarium.

Directions

Regular testing will establish whether to reduce or increase Nitrate levels.

Dosage:

Add 10ml to every 100L of aquarium water to raise Nitrate levels by 2.5 ppm
