Pure Reef kH Buffer promotes pH stability while enabling corals to build their calcium carbonate skeletons. Alkalinity in natural seawater consists of bicarbonate and carbonate.

Alkalinity’s depletion from normal to unacceptable levels can occur within a day or two depending on the aquarium demand.

Low kH levels in your aquarium may cause:

• Coral stress
• Dying off of coral (severe cases)
• pH swings

kH Buffer is required to maintain alkalinity in a reef aquarium. It is recommended to maintain aquarium water at an alkalinity of 7-11 dKH.

Directions

Dosage will need to be increased or decreased according to aquarium demand. Regular water testing is required in order to determine dosage requirement.

Daily dosage:

Add 1ml to every 100L of aquarium water daily. (Can be dosed daily or weekly)
