Description
In mammals, all lactating females release substances called “appeasing pheromones” the function of which is to reassure the offspring. Canine “appeasing pheromones” are secreted by the sebaceous glands of the intermammary sulcus in the lactating bitch.
These pheromones calm the puppy at times of stress and provide reassurance, particularly in unknown environments and when encountering novel experiences.
Research has shown that the reassuring properties of these pheromones persist even into adult age.
Storage:
Store in a dust-free environment.
Precautions:
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not cover.
- Check that the mains voltage is the same as is indicated on the device.
- Do not place underneath furniture or behind doors.
- When plugged in, do not touch the device with metal objects.
- When plugged in, do not touch the device with wet hands.
- During and immediately after use, do not touch the device with your hands.
- The electric device should only be used with this Adaptil® diffuser formulation.
- The use of another substance may increase the toxicity or flammability of the product.
- The internal surfaces of the device reach high temperatures to encourage evaporation of active ingredients – these surfaces should not be touched during the use of the product.
- In case of contact with eyes, wash them immediately with water and seek advice from a specialist
- Avoid contact with the skin. In case of contact with the skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
- If the product is swallowed, consult a doctor immediately and show them the packaging.
Directions for use:
1. Remove the vial cap.
2. Screw the diffuser onto the vial and gently tighten.
3. Plug the diffuser into an electric socket and switch it on for one month.
Place the Adaptil in the room most used by the dog during the day or in the room where the inappropriate behaviour is occurring.
The product should remain switched on at all times.
Active area: 50 to 70 square meters.
One vial lasts approximately four weeks.

May be adapted according to the recommendations of your veterinary surgeon.
The diffuser is specially designed for this product. The properties of the product cannot be guaranteed if a different device is used, and it is not formulated to be used without a diffuser.
