Pure Reef Magnesium promotes many biological functions, while preventing excessive precipitation of calcium carbonate from aquarium water.

Alkalinity’s depletion from normal to unacceptable levels can take only a day or two in some reef aquaria, although it can take longer in aquaria with a lower demand for carbonate.

Low Magnesium levels in your aquarium may cause:

• Inability to maintain adequate calcium and alkalinity levels
• Calcium carbonate precipitation on heaters and pumps

It is recommended to maintain levels between 1250-1350 ppm in a reef aquarium.

Directions

Dosage will need to be increased or decreased according to aquarium demand. Regular water testing is required in order to determine dosage requirement.

Daily dosage:

Add 1ml to every 100L of aquarium water daily. (Can be dosed daily or weekly)
